The ideal candidates for the All-on-4 or All-on-6 Dental Implants are those who are non smokers, who currently wear dentures, who are about to loose all their teeth, and who do not present any conditions such as uncontrolled diabetes, or osteoporosis.

90% of Patients that have been told they are not candidates for traditional Dental Implant option are candidates for this procedure. Some cases may require other procedures like bone grafting, but we will have a solution for all situations.

This technique differentiates from traditional implant placement by placing the outermost Implants at a 45° angle. Not only do you benefit from better quality bone, but we can also place a longer Implant, giving a better retention to the implant. In many cases we can also avoid the need for sinus lifting.

The surgery is done in one day. The procedure takes roughly 2 hours depending, of course, on the case and its complexities. It is done under local or general anesthesia.

Surprisingly there is little pain involved in the procedure. Of course you can expect some discomfort of some degree since you just had a surgery, however you will be given all the pain, anti inflammatory, and antibiotics to insure a healthy recovery.

Healing time is 4-6 months (Surgeon will give you specific instructions after surgery) However if we are able to gain initial primary stability then you will be going home with a fixed denture however, this denture is not the final denture. Once your implants are integrated solidly you can return for a fixed hybrid Denture or a Plateau bridge.

Each case is special and different. Because of the placement of the all on 4 we are taking hold of denser bone, and using longer implants, if permitted, for better retention.

After extraction and implant placement, the denture will be custom made to sit on the implants and not on the soft tissue.

The gum will be completely closed up after surgery with resorbable stiches and the patient is placed antibiotics, and pain medication, an anti- inflammatory medication is given prior to surgery to limit swelling.

Have a date to start the treatment in mind and then contact one of our Experienced Dental Coordinators at 1-800-262-0134 and discuss the details of your case.

You will go over what your goals and expectations are with your treatment. You will be asked to present a panoramic xray, OR a 3d CBCT scan for our specialists to evaluate.

Other things that would complete the initial interview with the dental coordinator would be pictures of your smile, and pictures of the current condition of your teeth.
