Dental Implants Materials

The most common dental implant materials are titanium or zirconium. In any case, they must be strong and robust enough. Here are the main properties of each material. 

Titanium Implants

Titanium is the most common type of dental implant materials. Titanium implants allow the bone to grow aright. When that is placed in contact with the bone and is not disturbed; the bone will grow next to them. Titanium dental implant provides long-lasting results, and the cost is very reasonable.
Their designs can be produced in a two-piece system. One connecting to the replacement tooth and the other in the bone. Two pieces system allows for a customizable implant that solves low bone deficiencies. Titanium is biocompatible, that means it’s closely matched the human body. This includes to the bone system.

Zirconia Implants

Zirconia is a recent invention. It is regarded as the most promising future of dental implant materials. Although they are relatively new, zirconia dental implant materials are rising in popularity.
The zirconia is manufactured as a single piece. Zirconia dental implant materials combine both post and abutment into one unit. This reduces the fear of bacteria hiding and affecting the gum. Being a relatively new material, Zirconia dental implant hasn’t seen any tests yet.

Causes of exclusion

  • Patients with previous infections in that area

  • Smokers, Uncontrolled systemic health problem, such as, but not limited to; Diabetes, autoimmune disorders, severe osteoporosis, or any condition required long steroid use. If smoking or a medical condition is suspected as the cause of implant failure or other complication that requires treatment, an examination and blood tests will be required for warranty to apply

  • Patients that don’t come for minimum of 7 Days surgical phase and 10 Days Restorative Phase

  • Patients that defamation line us online

  • Patients that didn’t have the maintenance done yearly

  • Prefabricated Teeth Popping off (Fixed Hybrid Acrilic)

  • Restorations done elsewhere

  • Implants placed elsewhere

Requirements

  • Payment of Full cost of Treatment

  • Patient come back at least once to have their Restoration maintained and checked

  • Travel

  • We do not cover Flight and Airfare

    You must agree...

    • You will allow us to perform the necessary therapy, in conjunction with your restorative dentist, to eliminate your oral health problems, and restore your bite.

    • If it is determined that you “clench” or “grind” your teeth, you will allow your restorative dentist or us to fabricate a bite appliance for you.

    • You will wear any necessary bite appliance as prescribed.

    • You will be faithful to the checkup and cleaning schedule which your restorative dentist and we feel is most appropriate to ensure your long term oral health.

    • You will not smoke. This implant warranty is void for smokers.

    • If you agree to and abide by the provisions of this warranty, the warranty will remain in effect for your lifetime. However, should you violate one of the provisions listed above, the warranty will be void.

    Implants supported overdentures or Hybrid or Fixed Bridgework
    A lifetime guarantee cannot be offered on this cases, as such prostheses often require replacement of worn teeth over time. Tooth replacement in these instances does not require implant removal or replacement.
    Yearly inspection
    A yearly inspection is necessary. For peace of mind, patients can take out private dental insurance cover for the implant treatment for the first few years.

    Dental Implant Costs

    It's important to remember that implants replace the root of the tooth and that their placement is a surgical procedure, therefore it should not be treated as a minor intervention.
    The implant placement process consists of 3 phases, in the first the area is prepared and the implantation is carried out, followed by a recovery phase that can last up to 6 months, and the last phase in which the teeth replacement will be placed.

    Pre Dental Implants Care
    • Keeping your mouth and dental implant area clean
    • Don’t touch the Implant zone with your tongue or fingers
    • Don’t do exercise for 48 hours after surgery
    • Using warm hoy mouthwashes to helps the healing process
    • Take care about avoiding food from the Dental Implant area
    • Use ice packages to reduce the inflammation
    • Don’t smoke until the area is completely healed
    • If you suffer Pain use simple pain-killers such as ibuprofen and paracetamol
    • Use your temporary prosthesis as less as possible during the first week after surgery
    • Take your medication as the dentist points you
    Pre Dental Implants Care
    • Don't smoke to not interfere with your recovery
    • To avoid excessive bleeding avoid alcoholic beverage at least five days before dental implant surgery
    • Get soft food to eat after dental implantation
    • Talk with your doctor about a stop or reduce the consumption of medicación such as anti-inflammatory or anti-coagulant drugs
    • Consult with your doctor about add vitamins (A & C) to get a better supplementation before surgery
    • Resting properly and get an appropriate and balanced nutrition
    • Keep filled your prescriptions
